About Me
My
Story
From the moment I learned to walk, I was already running. My passion for running has been a constant throughout my life. I had a successful track career, competing from elementary school to the semi-pro level in university, where I specialized in the 400m long sprints.
In 2019, I launched my first mission to run at least 5km every day for a year. Unfortunately, at 49 days, I developed persistent ITBS and had to pause. I restarted the mission in 2020 and reached 192 days before another injury halted my progress. Determined, I refocused on my childhood dream of running in the Olympics. Training with the Coquitlam Cheetahs, I won multiple races but ultimately decided to retire from track to focus on my job as a distribution centre associate.
The extra time allowed me to launch “Mission: 365,” my latest mission to run every single day for a year. I also started a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for Mental Health Research Canada. Running has profoundly impacted my life, and now I aim to help others experience its benefits.
That's why I founded Weezy Runs. I want to share the joy of running with the broader community. Now that you know a bit about me, I’m eager to learn about you! Please contact me or book a session using the buttons above. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Much love!
